Heart Support: Psalm 112

Samuch libo lo yira  Samuch liba lo tira
Heart supported, no fear

This chant is for anyone who is broken-hearted and doesn’t know what to do.

For me, I had a terrible fight/misunderstanding with a dear friend of long standing. I was in a deeply vulnerable place and felt she had wronged me terribly and my heart literally felt broken. Chanting this encouraged the tears in my heart to manifest and with time to begin the healing process.

This psalm was brought to my attention by my teacher Rabbi Shefa Gold. The original language of the psalmist is written in the masculine form, but she has offered it in the transliteration with feminine language as well.
