kindness, awareness, bearing love from age to age,
lifting guilt and mistakes and making us free.

Adonai, Adonai, El rahum v’hannun,
erech appayim v’rav hesed ve-emet.
Notzer hesed la-alafim, no-se avon vafesha v’hata-a v’nakke.

 

These words are part of every holiday and high holiday service within the Jewish calendar. Chanting them in English as well as Hebrew allows us to understand their power and how they offer a chance to build a legacy by living these values.”
