Elul Modai Ani

Modah/Modeh Ani lifanecha, ruach chai v’kayam, ruach chai v’kiyam, she hehezarta bi, nishmati, chemla rabbah emuntecha.
I offer thanks before you, living and eternal King, for You have mercifully restored my soul within me; Your faithfulness is great.

This melody came to me on Rosh Hodesh Elul 5773 and is a good one to chant each morning of the month of Elul before Rosh Hashanah as a way to prepare for the New Year.
