Healer of the Broken-hearted

Psalm 147:3

Harofay Lish’vuray Lev, u’m’chabaysh l’atzvotam

Translation: Oh Healer to the Broken-hearted, you bind up our wounds.

 

We all carry broken pieces, shards and wounds as emblems of having experienced manyfacets of life. These words help us remember we can heal and God, Spirit, Shechinah is the one to help sew up and bind up the wounds. We don’t have to do this mending all on our own The ultimate healer is called in with these words to help us move towards wholeness.
