Inviting Our Future Selves

Psalm 39:5

Hodiyeini Yah kitzi, u’midat yamai ma hi

Translation: Oh God, show me my end, and what is the measure of my days?

 

The words of this chant open up a portal to have a visitation by one’s wise elder. With these words we time travel to see ourselves as a wise sage and with this vision, we are able to discern what qualities we need to develop in order to fully embrace the fullness of ourselves as we age.
